Shopping: Hayman Antiques, O Grace and Glory Boutique, Somerset Choice Station Antiques, Som-erset Hidden Treasures and The Junk Box Thrift Shop.
Produce, Seafood and Firewood: By the McDonalds is a produce stand and they also have wood but the owner does offer one free bundle of firewood. If you want additional firewood, they sell for $6.00.
If you want to get out for the day, take a leisure drive to Chincoteague Island, VA. It is not far and is very scenic.

Charming cottage inside and out. Very well equipped and comfortable. Quiet neighborhood. We enjoyed the scenic ride on and off of Deal Island and observing the beautiful sunsets over the Chesapeake Bay at the beach just a short distance from the Rusty Anchor.

What a wonderful getaway location. The house is exactly as described, very cozy and comfortable. The seasonal decorative touches were really nice. Super clean. Could tell the owners have been very thoughtful in how they prepared and stocked the house. The surrounding area is peaceful, beautiful and full of rich culture and history. We are so glad we stayed at The Rusty Anchor and got to visit Deal Island!

We really enjoyed our stay at Christina's home. The outdoor shower was a big hit after returning from the beach covered with sand! We had everything we needed, with plenty of space. We're already considering another stay next year!

WOW... great and beautiful place to stay!
We met and ran into a few neighbors and locals that were awesome and friendly! We had a wonderful time while in friendly Deal Island and look forward to coming back next year for our '5th' Sister-in-law's Annual trip! Thanks for all the wonderful memories/treasures! ❤️
